Might not be totally Automotive.......
I was traveling a little too fast although my co-workers would say I drive too slow. What saved me was my hat, not that I was a Vietnam Vet but one of the pins on the hat that looked like this:
He had only seen it in subdued color like this
So I got a warning as he was in that unit being deployed later on.

75mph and I was clocked at 88mph! Those roads in New Mexico are straight.

Overnight stop in Etosha, Namibia. Unusually heavy rains turned the roads into a mess. Etosha means great white place
