You are right. Actually, there are very few modern shows I even watch anymore.........LOL, as I type, I'm watching another episode of MASH. Hell, many years ago my TV never left 2 channels........TVLand and Nick at Night!!! I love old sitcoms.

At the VW car show last weekend we spoke with a MK6 GTI owner that once had his car wrapped in a modified Messerschmitt Bf 109 scheme, but he found himself receiving insults at traffic lights. People saw the iron cross and associated it with Nazism. Saddened and frustrated by the response, he removed the wrap, keeping only a small Messerschmitt on the rear . Heck, even the modern German Air Force under NATO displays the iron cross.

I think the last network TV show I watched regularly was Miami Vice from 30 Years ago.

That show was awesome in its day..........I'll never forget seeing the intro to the show for the first time, and that young lady walks by "bouncing" around to the drum beat LOL..........I was hooked!!! So innovative and just plain "cool". Hell, it influenced our culture.......the way we dressed, the music, etc.

Yes! Jan Hammer's soundtrack music remains as excellent today as it was back then. Crockett's Theme is one of my favorites:

I wouldn't want my German bread-van to wear an iron cross for the reason you've mentioned Sandpatch. I'm sure it would raise the ire of some folks. No rising sun on my Japanese roadster either although it does wear this club badge. :p

That club badge is great! :D There was a white tuner Honda in our area that had a large WW-II rising sun with red rays painted on the hood and I thought it was in terrible taste. I've not seen it in a while; perhaps the owner was clued in by a Veteran.
