No one understands this sentiment better than yours truly as they don't come cheap by any stretch of imagination, I waited many years for this moment:grey::grey:
I like the new F Type, but man are they huge. One drove along next to me in my MX5 & it made mine look like a little peanut.
I had a MKIII MG midget that I restored to like new condition. Midget does describe that car completely. I really enjoyed that MG, but it was woefully inadequate for our modern traffic. Enter my MX5 which is much larger in comparison, but still gives me all the pleasure of my Midget sans the roadside repairs. It seems all cars are getting larger due to safety rules & consumer demands. I went from a 2006 MINI Cooper S to a MK6 Golf GTI as my daily driver. It took a while until I was comfortable with the larger size of the Golf. Things change & time marches on. Sometimes this old guy has problems with that.
$4,500 or an interesting trade.
My dad use to own one of these in the mid sixties, Studebaker Lark.
