I know I'm not a mod, but I was wondering if we could keep politcal polemics confined to the Off Topic folder. I'm sure it would be just as disquieting for GOP members here if if I included in my critique of this photo "Under the old Republican Governent she could have had her pu**y grabbed".

It seems that it's becoming more frequent to see vitriolic statements in the comments section(s) regarding climate change, COVID science denial, and several other issues that have nothing to do with the photograph at hand. It has a rather dampening effect on those of us with contrary views who might otherwise comment, but now feel constrained. Don't get me wrong, I'm a news anchor and have spent the last 30+ years on the radio discussing issues that I often take exception to. I have no problem with people voicing opinions I may disagree with...as long as it's in the right venue. This is not.

It's not just you of course, and I'm not asking this because I'm a Democrat who disagrees with the basic tenet of your comment. I'm merely hoping that photograpy specific forum posts could remain photography specific.
