This is the biggest problem with mirror less cameras that have screen lag. While you think the subject is in the frame when you shoot, he's already out of the shot, it's almost impossible to predict the real position of a moving target. I certainly missed my DSLR.

I found the same when trying to get pictures of the gulls taking bread out of my hand ,if i timed it like a DSLR i missed it.

Same with my cell phone camera. After some time you get to know how much to adjust for the mirror lag - Aim well ahead and shoot, hopefully the subject would be centered.

As I used to shoot a lot of road condition from the front seat of an SUV, traveling at 50km/h+, I had to adjust for the lag, else the pothole/culvert would be well out of the frame.

Two issues. Shooting through a window caused a slight out of focus. And shutter too slow. Could have been a great shot otherwise.

I was shooting an American Bittern, when a water snake happened by. Since the bittern wasn't doing anything, I started shooting the snake. Guess the bittern got upset I wasn't paying it any attention and took off. This is what I got.

You loose a lot when you have to shoot active little birds in the shadows -- 1/200 just don't cut it
