I wish my 'bad framing' was that 'bad', I often amputate whole body parts, a bit of a thumb would be a minor injury
A couple of shots from a sequence of an owl in flight, from a day out at an Owl Sanctuary. D3200 50-300mm f4.5-5.6, AF-C and multi point 1/800th sec ISO200. My first go at birds in flight, and these were the best of the bunch. Given me a new appreciation for those super sharp shots of birds flying. Even though I got everything in focus apart from the Owls in flight, it was a good lesson and I cant wait till next time.
Just learning myself but i dont think i would use multi point on something flying that close to the ground, any mistake with its first selection and it would find loads of grass to focus on,i use multi point when shooting birds against the sky, less chance of it selecting something else.
