With the marks on the road showing the rig's near disaster I think you still got a great looking shot! :D
During the tail-end of Hurricane Sandy last year, I was taking a walk to a severely damaged building when I heard screeching wheels. I spun around to see a guy spinning out around the corner, but by the time I got my lens cap off (it was raining) and pulled my camera up, he'd come to a complete stop.

Sometimes bumblebees just don't pose properly. :)

I recently bought an X20 for travel photos and times when a large kits is labour some. In the first few days it was all about getting used to non nikon settings.

Here is a beautiful image of a lovely looking girl and her dog who came into my shot just as I was taking pictures of the lake. Unfortunately the exposure just was wrong and in my haste, what should have been a cracker image was almost.

Perhaps next time I'll be quicker off the mark with my settings.

This bee was huge too bad this shot is a little fuzzy. I got a nice clear shot as well but he wasn't in flight like this one.

This shot has defied my every attempt at correction... The shot below has been lightly touched-up in 'post but, for whatever reason, I never seem to be happy with the final product. I finally just gave up and decided this is as about as good as we're going to get...

Hi HF,

Some people need more time to discover that you can't, and should not
even try to, improve on good! An old saying states that better is often
the enemy of good!

This is, in its own way, beautifully zen! The only thing that could have been
done better, and that was before you touched the trigger, you could have given
it the much softer background that is seen on each side…

Very cool shot, buddy!
