I would have *loved* to see this shot turn out properly... I'm still not sure how I managed to botch it!

This is what happens when one tries to rely on autofocus. :) The fuzzy red thing in the center is the dragonfly I was trying to take a photo of. I turned off the autofocus and it came out great.

Out from the car on the wayside, on the yesterday's windy evening - I thought the 55-300 can get it sharp but as you see It was only a thought

It came out of nowhere, locked the focus on in continuous started to pan but gripped a bit too hard and fired before the panning was synchronised.

The train was backing up and I was ready to take the shot when I heard a car behind me. I took the shot before the car got in the way. If I had known it was an antique car I would have waited. Would have been a good shot then.

This site is o funny. I guess I'll forgive all my opp's, and just laugh at them, if I can find them. I just destroy them before some one see's them, and wonder what I'm doing with a camera.

Now here's a thread that makes me feel better! I likely should post all my photos here! Lol :D
Well I'll learn sooner or later. :)

During the tail-end of Hurricane Sandy last year, I was taking a walk to a severely damaged building when I heard screeching wheels. I spun around to see a guy spinning out around the corner, but by the time I got my lens cap off (it was raining) and pulled my camera up, he'd come to a complete stop.
