The wife had me in town shopping all day and we were late back. I just HAD to get at least one shot in before dark so I went extreme just for the he!! of it. I even postponed a much needed beer to get it. It's rather sad when one addiction displaces anothereaceful:

Got it back yesterday,first time out today,did quiet a few @ F6.3 because with it being stripped down i wanted to know it had been put back together correctly,i think it has.

First shot from my Tamron straight out of the box with no tuning. Lighting conditions... storm gray/black overcast and the birds standing in the shadows of the trees. With all that said, the Tamron did pretty well.

I can see it now a 900mm Raynox macro. Who needs a super collider to look for the elusive God Particle. I can do it with my D7100, Raynox, and the Tamron.

I wish I was. I was walking down an elevated track occasionally looking over the edge for grouse when I saw this guy. I'm not sure who was more surprised. We both just stood and looked at each other then he turned and slowly ambles away. Phew!
