The first 6 or 7 months where very much a love hate relationship with my Tamron 150-600 but its been worth it,i love using this lens.
Very overcast day,bird deep in a bush,for the money nothing else comes close.

Mine is well under that number,will have to email tamron to see if it was done last time it was in,as its a four week turn around in the UK i may not bother,

I took it as below didnt have the upgrade and above did.

Model A011 with the following serial numbers have the new firmware. For Nikon 042668 and above
It also stated it was for Tamron lenses in the US.

We will have to wait and see if it comes across this side of the water,i cant find any mention yet.

Found a post over at potn about it. Seems like it could be worthwhile. Maybe it would help with bif. Not sure if i'm ready to let it out of my hands though. :)

As an expat Brit and avid bird lover, I'm very much enjoying seeing all these old friends again. Many thanks to all the UK guys for triggering many happy memories with these photos.
