Mrs Blacktop was throwing out the old flower hanging basket to make way for a new one, when she discovered these critters living inside.

awww...how cute!! Little fluffy crowns, so they must be princes. Just as well she didn't throw them out, they may bring gifts of gold :D Really tho...what sort of bird are they?

I don't need gifts of gold, but a 610 and a Tamzooka would be welcomed.
I have no idea what kind of birds they are.

Is it me, or my 18-55 is giving me a smoother bokeh than my 18-140? It was a little brighter outside though yesterday so that may come into play.

Those are so cute! Beautiful images you've captured. And it's an awesome idea, using those flower baskets, maybe I'll try some day.
I am hoping to get chickens, maybe next year, and found out small birds often like to visit (and eat and drink), and I was thinking I could place a few birdhouses too, and maybe get lucky :-D

Thanks for the compliment and taking the time to reply. These hanging basket nests were purely by accident, but next season I'll leave a couple out there. Maybe these guys will come back to nest again.
