Please check before you throw out your hanging flower baskets!

Mrs Blacktop was throwing out the old flower hanging basket to make way for a new one, when she discovered these critters living inside.

I don't need gifts of gold, but a 610 and a Tamzooka would be welcomed.
I have no idea what kind of birds they are.

Is it me, or my 18-55 is giving me a smoother bokeh than my 18-140? It was a little brighter outside though yesterday so that may come into play.

Looks smoother than the 18-140 (at that setting anyway). The 18-55 looks pretty sharp as well!

Oh yes, the 18-55mm is a great little lens for the price. I'm betting the newer VRII version is even better.

Yup. you're right. Here is one with a wider aperture with the 18-140.

I am hoping to get chickens, maybe next year, and found out small birds often like to visit (and eat and drink), and I was thinking I could place a few birdhouses too, and maybe get lucky :-D

Thanks for the compliment and taking the time to reply. These hanging basket nests were purely by accident, but next season I'll leave a couple out there. Maybe these guys will come back to nest again.
