11-30-13:
Over the kitchen table, we have a lamp that I use mainly as a night light. It had one of those yellow "party" incandescent bulbs for what seemed like years, that is until it burned out last week. I decided to change the color and went with one of those blue LED replacement bulbs. Yes, it is a very, verity blue light, rather cool, actually. I was curious how things would photograph under this light. As it turns out, almost everything, no matter what its actual color, turns out to be some shade of blue, except for a few objects: pink and yellow highlighters turn out to remain pretty close to true, and the orange caps of the Tide to Go sticks turned out dark red. The tablecloth is actually a gold color, the tape dispenser is purple. It was just interesting to see how the camera would pick up what colors. Oh, the pinkish color coming through from under the curtain is really the light from the outside door light: one of those "warm white" compact fluorescent lights.
The only post processing I did, other than crop the image a little, was increase the brightness somewhat and change the exposure because it definitely came out rather dark.
