Working on the RD shot - running dog. This little Yorkie goes like a bat out of hades and is such as small target, but I'm getting better. Finding the best lens is the 70-200 F2.8 - I have the VRI version. The VRII would probably be even better, just need to save the $2,800 (CDN$) they are asking. I think I'll work on my skills first. Have thought of trying "panning" but have not tried it yet.


Could have posted this one in the 'almost' file, almost nailed the focus on this shot of her playing ball with a pine cone.

Try the AF-C setting might give you a bit more tracking and up the ISO so you shutter speed can be raised .
Unless your shooting professionally stick with what you got the camera is capable.
