Mike.... that's a great shot! Is that the Sigma you're shooting with? How are you liking it? Handheld? And did you just let it do the AF or was there some manual focus involved here, too? Lotta questions, I know!

@mikew I'm looking to add just one telephoto zoom lens to my setup, primarily for birding and taking pictures at the zoo, etc. I see from your Flickr you also have a Sigma zoom. Which do you like better, sharpness wise, the Sigma or the Tamron? Do you have any experience with the Nikkor AF-S 70-300? That would be the other lens I'm interested in.
