My buddy Stella could use some help. She was recently diagnosed with Leukemia and the docs aren't sure she's got too much longer. I'm glad we got to spend some time spoiling her last night.

Technical smechlical. It's a really great shot. I'd frame it and hang it if I were you. :)

Technically, I think it's fine. If you were in that situation without your camera you'd be locked in on your dog's eye, and the snout would be too close for you to see in focus. Good job!

Thanks for the thoughts. She passed away late last week. At least she is no longer suffering from the leukemia, but she’s still missed.

Damn. So sorry, I did not know that. Sorry to bring it up. No one loves dogs, any animal really, more than I do...…….so I feel your pain. I just wish I was more timely with my response. Till you meet with her again...…...RIP Stella.

This dog tried to attack us as we rode past it, then it wouldn't turn to look at us when I tried to take its photo.

I'm so sorry, they are a part of the family and it's always very hard when you lose them.
