Nice shot Pete. $10.00 you paid for that? I think it's worth about $100. Nice find!

When I got it, it was low on oil. So I checked around and found out that it takes baby oil. So for about $2.00, I dis-assembled

the compass, cleaned everything and re-assembled it. Then I filled it with baby oil back to the proper level.

Still, I think it was worth the $12.00 investment. It certainly has created a lot of conversation!

Day 33 "Finally Finished!"

Who would have believed that it would take nearly 6 months to find white sugar sand?
But, its all finished now!

Turned out great Pete. I guess if your working on the Firepit, your not working on the "Pete Cave" :p;):cool:

Why would you say that? My mother was a woman, so I can partially multitask!

As a matter of fact, I have finished the electrical rough in and cut in, installed the insulation and put up the vapor barrier.

Next step starts tomorrow. Drywall.

Day 34 "Little Brown Bear"

I am sure that you have heard of how tough guys hunt bear. They use a stick!
I must be a lot tougher than that! I just took my camera. I found this little guy living in his natural habitat, a door on
my refrigerator freezer. Apparently, his diet consists of dust. Who knew?

Enjoy;

Now all you need Pete is some Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream and Maple Syrup to go with your bear meat; followed of course with a cup of Green Mountain Coffee!!!
