I saw this weed with the dewdrops on each point and it reminded me of a Christmas Tree.

Day 20 "Water Droplets"

I think this is the first B/W that I have posted. I am trying to create a mood in this one.

I want to impart a feeling of foreboding or even fear of what the drops might be.

Be afraid. Be VERY afraid! :)

Pete, did you rotate this so the limb was horizontal? It looks like the droplets want to fall to the right, although it could be I've got too much quinine in my beer.

I may have rotated this shot about a degree or so. Certainly not very much. What caught my eye on this one was the way the water droplets seemed to defy gravity and stay at the top of the needle. I think that its because of the slow collection of water on the needles and a high coefficient of friction on the needle surface.

Hope the malaria is not kicking up.
