Pert near every day or so...

The only place there is much snow is in my road. Dozer wasn't so bad today. I can tolerate January days of sunshine and 42 degrees.

On a blustery winter's morning I didn't venture far afield to take this quick shot. The cold and snow here right now is nothing compared to what many people are struggling with across this country and our northern neighbors. To those my wish is that you can stay warm and safe.

My friend Dave's (Rancher's) sister just wrote me using Dave's pm that he has passed away. She asks me as his friend to post this so you'll all know. I've only known him for a short time, but he was an awesome guy and a great nikonite!
I shall miss him.........
May god bless and care for his family in this time of grief.

R.I.P. Rancher. You will be sorely missed, both at home and here.

When I was studying I had to read and learn about Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. I remember lots of this man and a quote who came in my mind today is:"He who has gone, so we but cherish his memory, abides with us, more potent, nay, more present than the living man".
