Thank you for allowing my membership, i was hoping you could help with advice i may need. I'm about to attempt to renovate my Nikon D7000hoping that i can get some use out of it once again after 10 years, i have ordered a new cmos image sensor fron Ali express (following my last failed attempt to clean sensor properly). Camera is otherwise in near perfect condition, although i need to purchase lens/lenses' and a battery. I would appreciate your thoughtson wether this is a good idea or plain daft.
