Hello Hark,
I am also in same boat with D600 dust issue. I may put camera on ebay and buy D610. Any suggestions here? Shall I buy D610 or wait for sometime? You are very experienced photographer so request you to provide some guidance. Have you thought about Fuji cameras?
I think finally purchased D610 and hows this camera? Is it worth in investing in D610 or go for other cameras like Fuji X-T1/X-E2 etc.
Thank you in advance.
Hello maverick2007 and welcome to the forum!

I am not familiar with Fuji's gear but I'm sure there are others here who can offer you excellent advice on those specific models.
As for the D610, it is a terrific camera! I used my D600 for no more than 3 months when the spots showed up, and I was never able to get rid of them after that. It was frustrating but fortunately I had my D90 to use in its place.
After I got through everything with the D600, my D610 finally arrived (which wasn't until December). To be honest with you, I had forgotten what I enjoyed about the D600 so using the D610 has been fantastic! I learned photography with 35mm cameras so the full frame is definitely my preference.
The D610 is worth every penny! It contains all the good features of the D600 without any of the worries of spots on the sensor! Seriously, I haven't even given the spots any thought since having this camera! If you liked your D600, it's pretty much the same camera. Unfortunately I can't give you any info on the Fuji, but if you have lenses to go with your D600, wouldn't you sell everything if you went with Fuji? Although it was a frustrating 6 month journey resolving the problem with my D600, there isn't another brand of camera that I'd rather own! The D610 will give you incredible photos all around, it's great for low light photography, plus the full frame is a NICE step up from DX.
What features are important to you, maverick2007? And what type of photography are you most interested in doing? Answering those questions will really help guide you to what may be best for you.
Is there anyone here who can help maverick2007 make an honest comparison between the D610 and the Fuji? I am not familiar with the Fuji to point out the pros and cons. Thank you!
