Offline for a bit

As mentioned in my 365 thread my Father has been dealing with some health issues. This morning his heart gave out on him and he passed quietly from this life. I'm thankful that my brother and I were able to spend time with him this past week and a half, and that he didn't suffer long. I'm headed back to FL tomorrow and will likely be out of pocket for a couple weeks, but you never know, I may just need a momentary distraction. All things considered the family is doing well.

My dad who is 93 yrs old just had all his sons and daughter get together probably for the last time.
Cause he isn't doing well either.
He feels it won't be long before hes gone.

I am so sorry for your loss, Jake. It's never easy to lose someone you love . . . no matter how "prepared" you think you are. My thoughts are with you and your family. Take plenty of time to heal . . . be kind to yourself.

Very sorry for your loss, I recently went through this and still drift time to time. Its really hard losing a parent. You have friends here at Nikonites that will be keeping your their thoughts.

Sorry to hear of your loss Jake,when my first wife died i was given a thought by a friend.

At the moment you think about them with a tear in your eyes but the time will come when you think about them with a smile on your face
