Off work over christmas

I had a few holidays left to take this year, so with normal days off and bank holidays, I finish work on the 17th of December
Then not back in work till the 5th of January.

If your working, what days do you have off over Christmas and new year.

I'll probably be doing half-days, or touch-and-go's, the week of the 22nd... Then I'm off entirely from December 24th until January 5th.

I am going to close my business from December 24th until January 5th. That means my beloved daughter is going to take my life over and I am looking forward opening my business again so I can relax *LOL*

I can't wait spending my vacation with my beloved small family.

Must be nice, I am working all Christmas and New Year week. But I am also 1500 miles from home and 1700 miles from my daughters so it is not like I could be with them anyway!

Work doesn't slow down much here, but I'll get a couple of days here or there over the holidays. The plus and minus of my day gig is that I can work mobile from pretty much anywhere, but by the same token that means I can get called from just about anywhere.

Still, we'll do our usual family rotation to see everyone we can, and then be back at work early in January to get a break from seeing family and friends.

We're off to the cottage (Sweat Water)for Christmas.The whole family will be there.My daughter and the 2 grand children will stay up there till the new year. Going to be a blast.

I know. You get a good start on the morning and before you know it is nap time. Then after lunch stuff has to be done. So much time and so little to do....Wait, is that right?

I work shifts so I'll be sat at work Christmas Day until 3pm and working nights Boxing Day, all part of the job.
