Nikon Lenses

Nikon is producing few white lenses and out of that one I do have is the 300 mm f/4. Yes Canon white lenses are more in the market compared to Nikon.

I prefer to not attract attention when I'm already standing there with a few thousand dollars in my hand on a public street. Much better when only another photographer will know whether I'm holding a couple hundred dollars in my hand or a few thousand.
My thought process as well. Black certainly is more 'covert' :)

I remember when Nikon offered cameras with either chrome or black trim parts (I'm sure I'm using incorrect terminology, I can't remember how they marketed it.) I insisted on all black because it just looked more "professional" to me. The white Canon lenses look like lab equipment or plumbing parts to me, not photographic equipment. :)

I'm just kidding around, for those who might think I'm making fun of Canon or anyone's color preference. If Nikon made a 400mm f/5.6 like Canon's, I surely would have bought it a few years ago, even if it was yucky white. :)

I prefer my camera gear to be all black.

I guess if you really want the white lenses you could just convert yourself to be a Canon shooter :shame:

What would the gain be if the Nikonites produced white lenses? Would we all take better photos? If so, I'm in. If not, I'm indifferent at best.
