I can't agree more. I was at a B&M in Orlando a few weeks ago to get some items to repair a tripod, and while I'm waiting for them to find the parts for me, a salesman hands me a D750 with the 200-500 attached and said something like "Here, take this, and let's go outside and try it out." I went back two weeks later and got the D750, and I'm looking to possible go back for the lens later this year. My only issue is that I've been looking at getting either a 500mm or 600mm f/4 for the extra speed it affords. I know it's only one stop, but sometimes I need that stop.
However, the fact that I'm even looking at this f/5.6 lens says a lot about how it handles on the front of a camera and the images it can produce!
