I think it's a swing set, actually. I think I will need to find a catalogue of things to shoot on these kinds of days, so I don't end up with too many shots of shrubs in front of swing sets ;)

Love the sewing box my Gran had one and also gave one to my Mom. They were always near the comfiest chairs :) Funny how something so simple brings good memories to so many people :)

Day 64
Didn't get anything interesting today.
I was building a frag rack in the sump for my fishtank, and building a light, and when I was done, it was too late to come up with a photo. But you get to be the first to see the wonder I build :)

Day 65
Okay, this is a photo that needed to be taken :)
We have very little free wall space to use as a background, so this involved my dear wife climbing onto out bed and balancing with her big belly while I fumbled with my camera and flash. Happy times! :D

...and YAY! Only 300 days to go :)

No, I think that baby is going to be born before 300 more days. LOL

Of course you are right :)
I just think I need to go out and take photos of something else, to get a little more inspiration.
I'd actually like to try a little street photography, but haven't yet had the nerve to start taking photos of random people in the street. Maybe I will before the year is over :D

..oh, and thank you. I actually feel like it turned out okay as well :) And it will be nice to have in a few years I'm sure ;)

I love shoving a camera in someone's face. ;)
Actually it is quite daunting and a longer telephoto plus a friend as a prop is helpful. I use my flatmate and place her between me and my intended subject - pretend to shoot her but aim over her shoulder.
They with buskers - they all seem to be happy for their photos to be taken especially if you give them a coin.

Really love the baby bump photo. You'll be able to do some baby shots before long ;)

Exactly. I find it quite unnerving to go and take pictures of people I don't know. My city isn't that big, so people don't quite have that big city attitude. The telephoto approach could be a way to open it up for me, but the thing I really like about street photography is the faces of people, who realize they are caught on camera doing whatever they do. It just gives a very special expression. But after all, maybe I should just quit jabbering and get my camera into town ;)
