That's a great thread, Marilynne. I wonder if something similar could be pulled of with a 55-200. Maybe I should give it a try. What I do miss in his photos is a bit of interaction between photographer and subject. But that is the truly daunting part to me anyways, so better start of from the distance ;)

Day 68
Our girl had her very first yoga class for kids today. I think she's getting a hang of it...

(Pretty sloppy work, I know, but she had to go to bed, so we were in a bit of a hurry)

...oh, and I just got my first batch of prints today. Great feeling to have the photos in the hands :)
For some reason there was some automatic image enhancer on per default, which I didn't notice before I had ordered the prints, at which point it was too late to turn off, so I was quite nervous that all the photos would be ruined. Luckily they look pretty okay for the most parts and only a few a rubbish.
Exciting day! :)

Day 71
Does phone pictures count?
I was at the local art museum with my family today, and for some reason left my camera in the luggage box. When I got home I realized that was a picture on my ticket of the exact same angle of this sculpture, only in landscape view instead of portrait. I don't know if I subconsciously picked up the original photo, or it was by pure accident that I went to the backside of the boy and saw the same photo.

Day 72.
Went out into the cold spring night with my wobly stand, and tried for some long exposures. Some went better than others...

Frankly I really like this last one. Only it was pretty windy where I took it, so I simply couldn't keep it steady enough at 30 sec exposure on my cheap plastic stand. Too bad...

I like the top one. I have no idea of critiquing a shot, I just like what I like :D
