The Quivira National Wildlife Refuge - The body of water is actually a salt marsh. Salinity levels fluctuate, based on rainfall and other factors.

I see you have most of the Nikon 1 lenses, which would you recommend the most? I just ordered the 18.5. I think the 10mm might be a waste with the 10-30 kit lens. How do you feel about the wide and 30-100?

Thanks (us newbies are such a pain :))

The 10mm pancake isn't on my list, either. The 10-30mm is adequate. I do like the 6.7-13mm. It's sharp and sturdy and well-built. Next to the 18mm, it's my favorite lens and is always on camera. I guess I could call it my walk-around. The 30-110 is OK in bright light. As you've already alluded to, they need to create a faster telephoto zoom, but, with the outrageous pricing ($900) of the 32mm f1.2, I'd be afraid to see the sticker price on a fast telephoto.

Hopefully they will continue to expand this line of lenses. I'm suprised that none of the Nikon 1's have auto-bracketing. Unfortunately the "HDR" is a jpeg gimmic.
