My Daisy girl is gone!

I wish that your girl comes back when her confusion about the firework sounds goes down and she feel comfortable again. Maybe a few days. Once my dog was gone on New Year's Eve, and it took three days that he came back. Since that I will never ever use fireworks as I saw how animals get irritated.

At present, I put my dog in the house when I know that fireworks is used to celebrate something.

I'm "willing" her to come home to you from my desk in AZ.

My two (German Shorthairs) are getting up in years (12+) and I don't want to think about life without them...

Hoping to hear good news in the am.

Pete,
Been away all weekend, and I just saw this. Positive this will have a happy ending. I'm sure the pup is just as anxious as you trying to get home.

She is still not home. I went to all the local shelters and gave them my number. Alerted all the animal hospitals around here.
Posted on FB . Drove around all weekend looking for her, and came home early from work today and did the same.

If someone picked her up and decided to keep her, I just hope they take good care of her.
I have done all that I can for now, but I keep hoping.

I have found a hole in the back of the fence where she has dug. Most likely that is where she got out.
My other dog Max did not follow her and stayed in the yard. He also still looks for her every time I let him out.:(

Like Bill, I'm also continuing to pray for Daisy and your family.

My boxers liked to bolt whenever they had a chance, so I'm been in your shoes before.

I know this is very hard for you, Pete. We're still praying that she'll return or be found. Wish I could offer a suggestion, but it seems like you've done everything possible. It's good that Max didn't follow her. Sounds like he's lonely for her, too. We'll keep your family in our prayers.
