Feel better soon.

I have never seen a Northern Flicker before. Very pretty. I have learned a lot a bout different birds since joining this forum.

Never seen one either. Apparently they are throughout the entire North American continent, but only spend summers in Canada. I guess it's too cold up there.

And the one color photo from today. It feels like a Chevy truck poster to me.

Feb 6 of my Photography Project 366 - Wrestling

Just one time I would love to shoot wrestling in a room with halfway decent light, but keep ending up at the same location where the lighting qualifies more as low light long exposure. The kid I needed to shoot, as the Gods that hate me would have it, ended up on the lowest lit mat in the farthest corner. Grumble as I may, you do what you have to do. Or as we said when I was in the military, shut up and color because nothings going to change and it still has to be done. So here is my coloring for today's photograph.

A little playing around today with slow shutter speed. This is so much harder than you realize until you try it.

Still playing with slow shutter work. Didn't have long to get a really good shot, so this one will have to do for today.

Post 132 almost makes me dizzy looking at it.
I like it. The image , not dizziness. :)
Sorry for the dizzy. :) But there will be more of these as I master the technique. No idea when or where it will come in handy, but I always strive to master new things, put it in my pocket for later, and it eventually comes in handy.

Again, sorry for the dizzy. :)

No worries. I wan't actually dizzy, but visually, I was like , "whoa" due to the blur in the background with the strong lines. What is interesting, is if you look at just the car, it starts to pop from the background. I think it looks good, and it is an interesting technique. Are you planning the camera? I know that is difficult because I have tried to do the same with dogs running full speed around the back yard.

The terrible winter inversion air may suck for breathing, but it's spectacular for color. If you're not familiar with the winter inversion. We live between two mountain ranges. The air gets trapped between the ranges, including all the pollution. It can make breathing hard for asthmatics. However, the pollution combined with some fog can create some spectacular colors in the winter.
