It's doing well. I am blessed with great genetics and healing. In spite of that, it still hurt, but I'm feeling much better today. A little tender, but better.

A friend of mine has an original Armistice announcement news paper from November 11, 1918. It has been handed down through the years in her family and since I am a veteran she felt that I should see this original newspaper. I appreciated her doing this for me, but I really wanted to preserve this for her in a way that she could still show people but not risk damaging this historical newspaper. So I very carefully photographed this using my best lens and captured an amazing duplication of the paper. As I said, the point of this photograph was to be able to share it with others so I posted it up here to share.

i feel your pain (knee and winter), its fell all the way down to 75F here MM. :rolleyes::cool:

i hope your knee gets beter soon, mine still has an offish day and thats from March, old age, cant hide from it forever.

A three sisters shoot for their mother since she hadn't had a picture of all three of them since they were kids. I believe it met all expectations as the mother cried.

Impromptu baby shoot. The little girl was having so much fun playing with the pool balls that I couldn't resist shooting her. The mom loved the shots and commented about how much better they are than the shots she paid for in the studio. I told her it's the same thing I have on my business site. If you want great pictures of a kid then invite the photographer on a play date to shoot the kids in their natural environment. In the studio, which I prefer not to shoot kids in studio, by the time they are ready and on set to shoot they are long past their interest, usually tired, and really don't want to participate. You want happy children photographs then shoot them while they are doing what they want which makes for a happy photograph. In the end, she got my point. I think I will be seeing them again on a play date.

Nothing like fall colors and a playful couple on a shoot. There are other shots, but this one captures the essence of them as a couple.
