Today was our Christmas. We do it early every so that my daughter can travel to spend the official holiday with her mom.
First my wife and kids took care of me. New softboxes to include a 3'x4', Beauty Dish, cube softbox, 1'x2' gridded softbox, and various new umbrellas. Gels for my flashes, every assorted adapter ring in duplicate, new backdrops, new lighting mounts, and another flash putting me up to 4.
With all my new stuff coming in I handed down a Manfrotto tripod, monopod. new cube softbox (had two), and some training videos I had previously purchased on photoshop. This all went to a soon to be new Nikonites member who received her first dslr at our early Christmas.
Here is a picture of the young lady and our son. I shot this with her new D3300, my lent flash, and her 18-55mm kit lens. Once I teacher her the exposure triangle, how to use her camera, and she has enough knowledge to be dangerous I'm sure she will be pursuing dog photography as they are her love.
I told her when she first got her camera from our son that every first time dslr camera comes pre-loaded with 1000 bad photos before anything good comes out. She asked about this photo and I told her it must be an accident that got past the bad photos.
