Wow. I can't believe I have not been looking at this thread.

Your images take my breath away...I guess I am sending this post from another dimension, then...lol

I quit clicking likes, figuring 1042 of them might crash Jdeg's system.

Thank you for posting these wonderful photos.

Been crazy busy getting my studio setup with zero camera time. While still a ways from being complete, I finally got to a point I could shoot something and for that something I dragged my lovely wife to the stool so I could shoot her... with the camera. :)

Great portrait shots George. Really like the little girl in blue.

Thank you. Learning to work with kids to shoot portraits. It's harder than you realize until you're sitting there and it just isn't happening. For the three girls (infant is a girl) it was a matter of being leisurely and shooting. The poses shots, look at the camera, smile, turn your head this way that way etc... just weren't working. The two older girls was snapped at a moment they saw something that caught their eye. The toddler was just a matter of bubbling up looks and you never knew what might show up. With the boy, his smile just looked terrible. Eventually I told him to tell me a joke. That lit a fire in him because he loves to tell jokes. From there it was a matter of firing until I caught the mouth in what looks like a smile.

I too love the girl in blue. Just a perfect capture angelic capture.

Thank you again Marilynne.

My lovely wife sitting with a different backdrop. What I'm enjoying most is that my wife has never liked photos of herself... at all. So far I'm hitting a perfect game as she loves both photos.

It's not easy being one of the beautiful people, so I did a selfie and uglied myself up. :) Actually, it was more of a bit of playing with the flash, lighting, and photoshop just for grins.
