Day 101

And on the 101st day I photographically crashed and burned. Tried doing a focus stack in CS6 through the Edit/Scripts/etc... Some parts turned out amazing. Other parts hit a brick wall. Not sure what happened. On the close up you can see at the bottom of these green flowers there is a ring of blur that I can't figure out. Wondering if focus stacking in CS6 isn't so fond of tiny things to stack. Anyway, here is my crash and burn. Get the smores out while the burning is still going on.

I couldn't let that crap I posted earlier stand as my photo of the day. So pack up your smores, the photographic crash and burn is officially over.

This one didn't turn out the best, but I just love all the colors. Unfortunately the cop left right after my shot so I didn't get a second.

Continued... Day 102 Lightning

First lightning shot of the year. Our lightning usually runs within the cloud so this is the best I could get of fifty images.

Day 103 Lightning

Got today out of the way just 17 minutes into Sunday. Another wave of storms started booming as I crawled into bed. Quick check of the weather app on my phone and I couldn't pass it up - back outside for another round of lightning shots. This time things were a bit better. The wind was kicking hard so the trees are a bit gnarly, but the lightning was great!

Nice catch and good to see you survived it. Of course if you were to get closer next time, think what a great shot fabulous shoot you could get.:)
