Had to take advantage of the kennel guests again today.

Whew! Talk about ugly!

Playing with close focus of the 50mm f/1.8 lens. There will be no EXIF on this shot as it was done with manual exposure and reverse mount lens. I took this photo on Wednesday February 12th.

As shot.

Playing with the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 18-70mm "DX" lens a little. I don't use this lens much but I have read that it is a very sharp lens. It does seem to be just about as sharp as my 50mm f/1.8 but only more in the center where the 50mm is sharp almost everywhere.

While no longer in the running I might as well use this thread.

Spotted this flower growing by the streetside today. I found it is a Spiderwort Wildflower. Just beautiful for a wildflower. I used these as my entry in the April assignment as I have done little photography lately.

Great shots, Mike. I have the 28-105 also, and I don't use it nearly enough. It still kicks ass for an older lens, wouldn't you say? :) It's nice that it has the macro feature built in, too. I gotta start using it more. :)

It does what I really wanted a lens to do as to closeup and macro.
