Re: Homemade Donuts

Last week Michael posted his sweet milk dinner rolls, I made them for Thanksgiving dinner. Was told they were the best thing on the table. Thank you again Michael for the motivation. Ed

Re: Homemade Donuts

Are they deep fried or baked Michael? I just got a donut pan and can't wait to try making some.

I fried them about less then a minute by 160 degree Celsius. Important s that the donuts rest one hour before frying them.

I made the dough, one hour rest, then rolled it out, cut them - covered with a cloth and let them rest for an hour. After a minute frying they are so, so yummy. My family loves therm so much as well as my neighbors.

Re: Homemade Donuts

has anyone seen any "photo walking" shots from michael since he has gone on his cooking spree? :)

I am so busy because New Year is around the corner. Si I am happy I can get some "indoor" shots

BTW, Food shooting helps me improving my Manuel shooting journey. In 4 weeks I am on a vacation and I wanna use my Manual Experience Shooting

Today out from the oven

This came out today - Believe me that tastes so great with bacon, scrambled eggs or just with butter and jam

Doggonit Michael. You need to take up a new hobby like weight lifting or jogging or something. Every time I see a new photo of one of your cooking creations, I gain 2 LBS. ::what::

Re: Today out from the oven

I think I will have to give him an infraction on this one since he added the words bacon and eggs to it. I have bacon and eggs every morning but I am not allowed to have any bread with it.

Re: Potato pancake

Let me tell how I made the filling.

First I put 2 cloves of garlic and a small Shallot in a food processor and chopped it very small. Then I add pork and minced it rough together with the garlic and shallot in the food processor.

Put in a pan with a Teaspoon Olive oil and roast it. Add Marjoram, chili powder and a bit of a broth. Let it cool down.

Make the Potato-pancake with 1 Egg and muscat as well as a pinch of salt. Add flower until it is smooth.

Now put all minced pork into the food proessor and add some cheese. Mince all small. It is done.

Re: Potato pancake

All this food pictures you post Michael look "scrumptiously delicious". Do they have cholesterol tests in your area? I know for a fact that if I was to eat like that daily, my life expectancy would decline very quickly... Might be my genes...

But you pics are nice and the food is extremely tempting.
