Shooting in Jpeg, use elements 11 to sometimes edit. This is all new to me as a newbie photographer and not technically minded!

Found this on the Adobe Elements 11 website: To resize a photo for the web, choose File > Save for Web. Choose your file format, choose a color profile, and type in the pixel dimensions you need. Click Apply, and then compare the original photo to the compressed version to ensure that you're satisfied with the resulting quality.

I find the process of putting them in the gallery more "involved" than resizing.

Maureen...download a program called Irfanview and play with it. It's free. Resizing is a snap! All kinds of things can be done with Irfanview!

Ditto Jack. Big bang for no bucks. Some of us (me) don't have the greatest connections and unlimited broadband so resizing is just automatic to keep things going at a fair pace.
