VERY NICE! Of course, this kind of set-up is on my wish list for the "eventually" side of things, so I'm jealous! Wish I was to the point where I could afford to set up a studio and make a bigger go of the business, but all things in time.

We kind of need to see some shots soon... :congratulatory:

hehe.. i do too :D
unfortunately, there's been some delay in the arrival of the sky port - triggers.
so haven't really been able to even fire the strobes once :(
that's the excuse too for the crappy shots above :p

The triggers finally arrived last night..
Thought i'll take some quick pics of the strobes with the modifiers on..
so it had to be one light for lighting & the other light for posing :p
getting started with low key ;)

Something very funny about the 2 strobes..
One of the strobe's front is seen above...
the other is below

Attaching here to make things easier..
If you noticed, the modelling lights on each of the strobes is different!
Picked them from 2 different vendors as they had the last piece in stock..
Elinchrom has actually released both of these, and there are adapters converting one to the other

Damn I'd be geeking out if I had just taken delivery of all that! :)
The excitement would probably cause me to suffer "writers block" and not know what to do next after setting it all up.

Good luck with it all.

So am stirring up an old thread of mine.. looking to get this going finally.
Thanks to those who posted on my morose thread a few weeks back..
and happy to say i've taken the next steps forward..

i've decided to pour in some money into the studio that i've bought all this equipment for :p
need some advice & suggestions with respect to the studio itself..

the dimensions are 25ft x 12ft x 15ft

what type of paint would be required & room lights?
any required accessories?

thank you :)

I have no idea what paint etc would be best, but I'll certainly be looking forward to your updates! I was pleased with myself for buying and using a speedlight.... Then I saw all your gear!
