Meet and Greet Lakeland 2018 Countdown

A bunch of us meet in Lakeland FL once a year at the Circle B Bar Reserve (https://www.swfwmd.state.fl.us/recreation/areas/circlebbarreserve.html). It's a chance to meet old/new Nikonites members from all over and shoot wildlife. Kevin comes from Canada, Don from Alabama, Pete from Tennessee, a few of us from FL, etc... We schedule it for two days and some of stay at the Baymont Inn or the Hampton Inn in Lakeland.

Lakeland is about 2 hrs west of me. I've heard of the Circle B but never been there.

Yes, please join us. Started out with four of us, then six, last year I think there were 13 of us. We split in groups, Wayne found a spot, set up a chair and never moved. Lots of things to see. Spouses invited also.

I plan to be there, and I also still have my badge from last year.
Also, I read some good news on another page earlier today. It was stated that AA is open from shady oak to the pier and the cross roads to just before the lake. Hopefully, this is not only true, but also they will get the rest of AA open!

Sorry to hear that Dan would have liked to meet you but on that subject this may be my last year to going Florida every year wife and I have talked so maybe every other year we go to Florida and on the off years Cuba

I wanted to meet everyone too, but everything is so unpredictable with meds. things are better but just too uncertain. Cuba sounds cool. I am going to keep pushing for this trip. This year is off but I will keep trying.
