I guess I will take the snow. At least I can move it out of the way. OH YA there is the ice jam on the river right now that might cause some flooding conditions.:p

Well, the water is receding, but not fast enough.

Not close enough to any canals for alligator shots Ron, but plan to stay out of the water due to snakes. Chris saw our possum swim quickly across the back yard, by the time I got there, it was gone. Guess we should have gotten out the canoe and checked out the neighborhood. Oh, that is under water also.

The morning after the flood.

Looking west - yes, someone else's palm fronds parked themselves at the edge of our driveway

Looking east - another frond from who knows where

The guy at the corner was really flooded on Friday. After the wet vac, comes the airing out of the vehicle. Two rooms in his house also had some flooding.

Pat, we're the high spot on the street, that's why the palm fronds settled at our house. We had a some water in the screen room based on the high tide level on the indoor/outdoor carpet. Drying it out with the ceiling fans and box fan.

Riding around the area.

This pond is four blocks and then some from our house. I've taken shots of it before.

Someone raked all the debris

And not happy with this vehicle.

We don't know how, but Chris didn't get wet.

About two miles from home I spotted a Roseate Spoonbill in this canal. The closest I've ever gotten.
