Wako was full of Whistling Ducks on Friday. Guess the strong winds kept them on the ground.
I must say Marilynne that it looks like you pretty much have your ducks in a row! LOL

Thanks Jack! I took about 50 pics of him and I liked this the best. He wouldn't close his eyes. Glad I don't use film!
Yesterday we saw an otter in a friends lake. By the time I got my camera out of my basket, I accidentally looked at him and he dove in to the water never to be seen again. We hung around about 10 minutes when the skies got real dark grey.
Anyway, I went back to look for him this morning. Couldn't find him, but spotted this Green Heron.

The vulture above and this woodstork were at a pond/lake behind Publix. I was trying to see how close I could get. He walked, I walked, he walked, I walked. We walked around half of the lake. Finally he had enough and took off.

Marilynne, you need to slow down because you are making me work to hard. By the way I just posted a vulture picture that I shot this week in my thread.
Isn't it amazing? I checked the shutter count on my D700 this week and I have taken more than 6000 photos since October, and that doesn't include my D5100. Let's wear 'em out!
How do you check the shutter count?
