Mom wasn't happy. At first there were only three of us, then there were six or seven. We kept asking the newcomers to step away from the nest. When they moved, mom flew to the nest.

Thanks! Hope you sort out your home situation.

Jeep still under the carport. It starts and runs. As long as the Chris' truck runs, he said the Jeep is on the back burner. I miss it so!!

Be it ever so humble, there's nothing like your own transportation. We have a nearly new Camry in the driveway. I find that, unless I'm taking a long trip, I actually prefer to drive my old beater car. Despite my name on both titles, the beater is "my" car. Plus, anything goes wrong with it, I am comfortable getting the wrenches out. The new car, I'm taking it in. I'm not used to someone else working on my cars, but I have a warranty, and the new car has too many parts that have to be diagnosed, and sometimes programmed in with a sophisticated computer system.

I don't see any data on your pics. What camera and lens are you using?

The data stopped showing up on my photos a while back.

The wildlife shots are D500 and Tamron 150-600mm, generation 1. I use the D7100 as my walkabout/bike ride camera with the Tamron 18-400mm.

My shooting buddy heard about Great Horned Owls at John Prince Park last week. She went over the weekend and said one of the owlets didn't look so good. We went today. Another friend of ours said the sickly owlet fell out of the nest and someone brought it to an animal hospital in Jupiter. It didn't make it.

This is dad.

This is mom. There were five of us there at first. Mom was flying from tree to tree with a rat in her talons. Suddenly there were about ten of us. She landed near the owlet, but it didn't acknowledge her and she flew off again. She was in the shade. I kept changing my settings. Most of my shots were near black or overexposed.
