One of our neighbors' ducks - this is Gray. No clue why she named it that.

It planted itself, don't know what it is.

This morning at Wako

The Black Necked Stilts were in the retention pond in the overflow parking lot at Wako.

Then this gator came along and went under about 10-15 feet away

They went to the other side of the pond

BTW, all of the shots at the retention pond were taken through a chain link fence

This morning at Wako.

It's mate

 

[Marilynne]

They're so used to people, this one landed about two feet from me. I had to walk away to get it the shot and then it wouldn't look at me.

Kept seeing something splash in the pond. Walked around the nesting island and saw the Belted Kingfisher land in the tree.

Not sure if it was the same one since this was around the bend.

When the wings closed, the second one appeared
