I was getting ready to shoot the bird on the rail, when the Little Blue Heron came along and chased it. I had no idea it was an immature Yellow Crowned Night Heron until processing.

I wouldn't stop building that ark just yet. Looks like we're in for more rain today!

This Pied Billed Grebe was swimming along

and met this Moorhen

They had a short, but pleasant chat and swam off together

I think this is a Solitary Sandpiper (because it was alone). My other choice is Lesser Yellowlegs, but I don't think so.

Two things going against me on this one - the Spoonbill was in a bad place and the sun was behind it no matter where you were on the boardwalk.
