I was getting ready to shoot the bird on the rail, when the Little Blue Heron came along and chased it. I had no idea it was an immature Yellow Crowned Night Heron until processing.

I've stopped construction on the ark and may try for some photos this weekend. :)


Thanks Jeff! Wish I had the Tamzooka when I spotted the Osprey.

I wouldn't stop building that ark just yet. Looks like we're in for more rain today!

This Pied Billed Grebe was swimming along

I think this is a Solitary Sandpiper (because it was alone:rolleyes:). My other choice is Lesser Yellowlegs, but I don't think so.

Two things going against me on this one - the Spoonbill was in a bad place and the sun was behind it no matter where you were on the boardwalk.
