I was going to say that I didn't think this was a Coopers Hawk, but I looked it up first and discovered that his is the immature bird's coloration. I haven't seen an immature before, so I learned something!

There were a lot of birders in their vests, hats and binoculars. They told me it was a Coopers Hawk. All I know is it wasn't a Red Shouldered Hawk.
