I am running a bit behind this morning... only 8 degrees here and that bed was warm... Pat and I both slept in.

Looks like this Black Crowned Night Heron is almost an adult. Losing its baby colors.

This Cooper's Hawk was going after some Black Bellied Whistling Duck. No luck for the hawk, but lucky for the ducks.
