Went to a picnic/BBQ at John Prince Park in Lake Worth yesterday. This is the lake behind our picnic area.

Tried my best Dr. Doolittle and still couldn't get this Green Heron to come out of the Fireflag or even look at me.

If you mean the heron Roy, he was just looking straight out, not down.

This has got me waxing nostalgic, Marilynne. When we lived in Palm Springs in the 1960's, John Prince Park was a frequently visited place for my family and our friends. We would swim in the lake back then, but it doesn't appear so suited today.

i did mean the heron Marilynne, trying to spot the "invisable" gator. where they looking in the trees or something??? lol, Stevie Wonder could even see it.

As I was leaving Wako, I ran in to a friend I haven't seen in a few weeks, so I went around a second time.

Ok, I don't remember more than one lake at the park. Do they still have the ski jump ramp? I always thought my dad should try that, since I thought he was the "world's best water skier" back then. He was always smart enough not to even try it!
