Met Ivan (@canuck257) and his wife Liz at Wako yesterday. We spent two hours there, then headed over to Green Cay. It was a great day, sun shining and most of the wildlife cooperated.

I finally get to shoot a different butterfly at Wako and I can't find it in either of my two pamphlets

Asked some photographers what they were shooting. They pointed to this.

Every one had trouble spotting the tree frogs, but once your eyes locked on them, you had no trouble finding them again.

Here's the story - Belted Kingfisher, which is one of my best so far, sitting and minding his own business

Along comes a Great Egret

and chases the Kingfisher away

He's not happy and circles

But the egret doesn't care
