Thanks Roy! Wish I could have gotten a shot of mom also. She was circling with two of her kids and landed way out behind a tree. She took off and this was the only one that followed. When they landed right next to me, I had to back up and she took off again but the little one stayed behind. Guess he was exhausted from all the exercise.

Gertrude is doing well. She had twelve eggs when we first spotted her. She had eleven just before we left for our mini vacation. Now she has eight. We did see a couple of crows hanging out near the nest yesterday, so that may be the reason for disappearing eggs.
